Between Airports!

I am officially chillin at the Phoenix airport gettin ready for the lonnnnnng flight to London. Kudos to Alex for lettin me crash at his place last night. We made sure to go to a crackin place to eat for my last meal in the U.S. for awhile...

Almost Outta Here...

Hey everyone! I have never blogged before, so i figured i would give it a try. I don't think I could wait till I return to tell some of the crazy stories about to occur! I have about 6 hours left and then I'm on a plane to LA. I am hoping to get in one last Roscoes trip tomorrow afternoon before my 5pm flight. You know whats up... As ridiculous as it sounds, I still haven't packed. I have everything I need, but I just have to fit it all in suitcases and bags. It's definitely hard packin for four months. I'm sure I am forgetting something.

So, Amy and I take off from LA to Phoenix, then Phoenix to London, and finally London to Barcelona. If all goes well, we should be in Spain around 6pm on Tuesday. I am so relieved to be flying with somebody I know, so I don't have to do the long flight solo. Once I get there, I am going to be living with a family while I'm abroad. Forget that cooking class now - I'm just gonna learn from the people who do it every day!

My mind has been all over the place this last week. Thinking about people up here, people back in SD, and the idea of being gone for four months. I'm gonna be missing a lot of people for sure, even if it is only for a couple of months. I'm verrrrrry excited and anxious for this. It's still a trip to me that I even made it. I turned in my application the last day it was due (Sun God), accepted their offer on the last day it was due, applied for my visa on the 10th and got it EIGHT days later, etc. I have cut it so close to every deadline regarding this trip. I need to take advantage of this trip and live it up!

I have a lot more to say, but as Rey said, I need to "get crackin on the packin." I am gonna do my best to update this blog as much as possible. It's gonna be really weird being away from the bay and sd for so long. PLEASE keep in touch! I will have my phone till Monday around 5 and then it will be off till I get back in December. FACEBOOK AND VIDEO CHATTING are the two ways I'm gonna keep in touch...and this.
